7th Grade Science stresses lab skills, including metric measurement, correct use of instruments, microscopes, and lab safety.  All students complete self designed experiments including the testing of a consumer product. The textbook used is Science and Technology, published by Holt.

Beginning with the year 2007-2008 the State Science Assessment will be conducted on the 7th Grade level.
